William graduated from Stellenbosch University with an LLB and worked at a renowned wine farm in the Stellenbosch Winelands before commencing his articles of clerkship. After completing his clerkship with an established firm in Somerset West, he was admitted as an Attorney in 2011. Initially, his practice encompassed general civil litigation and criminal, but since 2014, he has focused primarily on criminal law. In 2023, William joined Mathewson Gess Incorporated, where his integration into the team was seamless due to his valuable skills and expertise.
